638 out of 1,675 examinees passed the Dentist Licensure Examination May 2001

The names of the first and second placers were withheld pursuant to PRC Res. No 2000-654 dated March 7, 2000.

Those in third to 10th places are:

Aileen Magcalas Mendoza, 81.64; Elinore Saron Bilanes, 80.94; Pamela Cristina Parciso Crisostomo, 80.25; Christopher Malanon Aggabao Jr., 80.16; Katherine Munsayac Rubio, 80.14; Nelson Reyes Perez, 80.13; Rica Celina Aguila Galvez, 80.11; and Marvin John Mariano Andaya, 80.09.

The performance of schools (based on percentage of passing) in the examination is as follows:

Milagrosa University Foundation, 6 of 14, 43.00%; Pines City Educational Center, 12 of 33, 36.00%; Manila Central University-Manila, 14 of 43, 33.00%; Lyceum Northwestern, 27 of 86, 31.00%; Manila Central University-Caloocan, 36 of 117, 31.00%; Ago Medical & Educational Center-BCCM, 9 of 47, 19.00%; Misamis University, 4 of 25, 16.00%; De Ocampo Memorial Colleges, 42 of 283, 15.00%; Unciano College & General Hospital-Manila, 8 of 61, 13.00%; and National University, 4 of 75, 5.00%.

The oathtaking ceremony of successful examinees will be held before the board on Friday, July 6, at 1 p.m. at the Manila Midtown Hotel, Ermita, Manila.

The Board of Dentistry is headed by Dr. Lucina Ejercito Goitia, chairwoman. The members are Dr. Ma. Rosario D. Achacoso, Dr. Claro B. Rayos del Sol, and Dr. Antonio A. Baldemor.
