A meeting was held last Saturday, June 22, 2002, between the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and Barangay officers at which it was decided to enlist the help of the city government in the community's Clean and Green Drive. A letter has been sent to the city Mayor requesting a dialogue between the city government, the City Hall representatives in-charge, on the one hand, and the PPC, Barangays concerned, vendors and tricycle drivers, on the other, on the matter of helping Morning Breeze Subdivision find solutions to environmental and traffic problems and promote cleanliness and orderliness in the community.

PPCRV APPEAL

       Your Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) is reiterating its appeal for more volunteers, especially among the youth, to take an active part in ensuring honest, orderly and clean local elections come July 15, 2002. Towards this end, we have issued a letter- requesting all candidates for election to submit a brief biodata for the information and guidance of the voting public and to allow each and every candidate a fair chance to reach as many voters as possible. There will be a general assembly of PPCRV volunteers at the SHJ Pastoral Center on July 6, 2002. (Time to be announced).

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR

       Everyone is invited to a Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS) to be held at the SHJ Pastoral Center on July 20 and July 21, 2002 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Registration forms are available at the Parish Office or your Street Coordinators. Do come and enjoy an enriching experience.

VISIT OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA

       The SHJ Parish was honored by a visit of Our Lady of Fatima on Thursday to Saturday. June 20-22, 2002.
