A Diocese is Born.

     Las t friday, August 22, 2003, our very own DIOCESE OF KALOOKAN  was canonically established with the reading of the Papal Bull of His Holiness Pope John Paul II at the Holy Mass held at the San Roque Cathedral at 10:30am. The mass also marked the installation of the first Bishop of the Diacese, His Excellency Most Rev. Deogracias S. Iñguez, Jr. The new Diocese, now separate from the Archdiocese of Manila, comprises the original District of Caloocan, Malabon and Navotas. Present at the Mass were H.E. J. Cardinal Sin, H.E.R. Cardinal Vidal,H.E. Apostolic Nuncio Antonio Franco, Archbishop, Bishops, priest of the Church, and religious leaders of other faiths.
